Dieting Disappointments
Imagine you've got a scratch on your car that's ruining its sleek look.
You discover a place that promises to fix the scratch and make your car look sexier than ever before. The place also assures you that you'll never get another scratch on your car again, making you excited to book your car in immediately.
Upon arriving, you see many others getting their scratches fixed, but you soon realise that you can't drive on certain roads and you must drive in reverse once a day to maintain your car's scratch-free look! You start to feel a bit sceptical about the whole thing.
As you start driving down the roads, you notice that there are some roads you can't take, and when you ask why, the person in charge simply tells you that you'll get more scratches on your car.
You're left confused and frustrated, wondering why you can't take certain roads and why there's no valid reason behind it.
After a few weeks, you notice a few scratches on your car again, and when you mention it to the place that fixed the scratches, they blame you for causing them.
You're left feeling disillusioned and wondering if you made a mistake by trusting the place that promised to fix your car. A year later, you notice that your car is covered in scratches again, and you hear that someone new has taken over the place you used to go to. You're hesitant to go back but decide to give it another try. The new person in charge tells you the same things as the previous person, but you book your car in again anyway, hoping that this time it will be different.
Deep down, you love your car and want it to look its best, but you're starting to lose confidence in your driving skills and wonder if there's any other way to fix your car's scratches.
If someone told you that they did this with their car you would be scratching your head. The car is still perfect, what's one or two scratches after all you’ve had that car for years but to everyone else it's perfect. How about looking after it more, taking it to a special garage that doesn’t just look at the scratches but sees that the car is in tip-top condition can drive just as well as it always did and you just need to put premium fuel into it to keep it looking a driving well.
By doing so, you can keep the car running smoothly and looking great for years to come.
The same applies to health and wellness programs like Slimming World and Weight Watchers, which focus on temporary fixes. On the other hand, the GODDESS aims to provide a holistic approach to health and wellness by promoting healthy habits that you can maintain for life."
